Rotation controlled by moving the mouse

Further progress in accessibility of multimedia contents can be achieved giving users control over animations by moving the mouse pointer into specific areas and following instructions similar to the “stop” and “play” buttons in the previous case.

While theoretically valid, this solution is not enough to solve all the problems of accessibility. The most obvious drawback here is the lack of explanation of how to act on the film. For users unfamiliar with this type of situation and especially mentally disabled users, it may not immediately be clear how to proceed. It is therefore important to insert a brief explanation of how to interact with the film.

Again, this is not enough to make the multimedia object completely accessible. Disabled users are still forced to use the mouse to control the film, as keyboard controls are not present.

Move the mouse to the left or right of the vase to see the vase rotate.
