workshop during BIBLIOCOM
2003; DIGITISATION: WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO DO IT. The workshop
is organized by Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali
in co-operation with the European Commission and the Italian Library
Association, within the MINERVA Project.
The workshop is organised in the framework of the initiatives
undertaken by MINERVA project to give the widest visibility to
its outputs. The Good
Practice Handbook, which is going to be presented, is the
result of the efforts of a European working group that selected
and analysed good practices and guidelines in the field of digitisation
across Europe.

Bibliocom is the most important Italian exhibition-convention
of the professions, products and services for the management of
information and knowledge devoted to libraries.Through Bibliocom,
the Italian Library Association wants to propose an event that
aims to offer to those who work in the field of information and
communication an occasion of meeting and exchange for having a
complete outlook on the potentialities and relations among the
different protagonists of this sector.
