South Eastern European Digitisation Initiative (SEEDI)

Abstract

In my talk a presentation of the South Eastern European Digitisation Initiative (SEEDI, http://www.ncd.matf.bg.ac.yu/seedi/) will be given. The SEEDI is an effort to develop awareness about digitization of cultural and scientific heritage in the South-Eastern European countries along the Lund Principles of the European Union. The presentation will contain a short history of SEEDI and the corresponding activities, as well as an overwiev of the current situations in the field of digitization of cultural and scientific heritage in the SEE countries. Some of the recent initiatives will be also presented.
